In the context of the 70th anniversary of China-Nepal diplomatic relations, the Sichuan Series of Sichuan-Nepal Culture, Tourism, Economy and Trade Exchange Month has started in Chendu, China.
Sichuan Provincial Government's Foreign Affairs Office and the Consulate General of Nepal in Chendu jointly launched the business exchange Sichuan Series in Chendu, the capital of Sichuan province last Friday.
On that occasion, Zhang Tao, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan province, said that the relationship between Nepal and Sichuan is gradually strengthening, the delegation led by the head of Pokhara metropolis and mutual exchange has increased since Sichuan Airlines started direct air service to Chandu from Pokhara International Airport.
According to the Consulate General in Chhendu, he said that the socio-cultural exchange between China and Nepal has also increased since last one year. Krishna Prasad Oli, Ambassador of Nepal to China, said that the historical relations between the two countries have been further strengthened by trade, tourism and cultural exchanges at the people-to-people level.
In the month-long Sichuan series, exhibitions of local products and cultural exchange programs in various cities of Sichuan province will further strengthen the strong cultural, commercial, economic and people-to-people relations between Nepal and China.
