Congress MP Prakasharan Mahat has said that it is clear that former king Gyanendra Shah is not fit to be a constitutional king from the display of royalism.

Mahat, who is also the former finance minister, while talking to the media at the Federal Parliament complex on Sunday, said that the chaos seen in the demonstration led to the conclusion that the former king Shah wanted to become an autocratic king.

'The movement of royalists also flatly denied that former king Gyanendra Shah wanted to become a constitutional king. From the kind of tendencies, activities and chaos seen, we conclude that his goal is to be an autocratic king. The mentality that the country will be taken over by force was seen,' he said.

Democracy is the best system in the world. He says that democracy cannot be replaced by any other system.
