Samajwadi Morcha Nepal has demanded from the government to take strict action as soon as possible against the criminal elements who attack public and private property in the name of demonstration.

The front issued a statement on Friday and drew the attention of the government to protect the offices of the political parties and the people's wealth. The front has criticized and condemned this type of high-profile and chaotic action.

The status-quo elements, agitated by the public demonstration organized in the capital, vandalized and set fire to the headquarters of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist), Kathmandu district office, the private residence of President Madhav Kumar Nepal's brother Saroj, private and public property and the media house.  The

front has expressed its gratitude for the participation of a significant number of citizens in the public demonstration held today against the regressive conspiracy and for the promotion of the republic and the protection of national independence.  The

front includes Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center), Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist), Nepal Communist Party and Nepal Samajwadi Party.
