The writ petition of Hitendradev Shakya, Executive Director of Electricity Authority and Kulman Ghising, who was removed from the position of Executive Director of the Authority, has been registered in the Supreme Court. The filing of both writs is scheduled for Friday.
Ghising has filed a writ claiming that he was illegally removed as executive director. He has demanded that Shakya's appointment be revoked and he should not be stopped from working as the executive director of the authority. Ghising has made opposition to Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Energy, Executive Director of Electricity Authority Shakya and others. The Chait 11 meeting of the Council of Ministers dismissed Ghising and appointed Shakya as the Executive Director of the Authority. He
Don't take action that affects the current appointment have also demanded. In 2078, the then government appointed Ghising as the head of the authority and dragged Shakya to the Energy Commission.
