The police have arrested 17 people, including the senior vice president of RPP, Rabindra Mishra, after a large loss of property was caused during the royalist movement in Thinkune and other areas of Kathmandu.

According to a high-ranking police source, the coordinators of the movement mobilization committee of the royalist group, along with Mishra, Dhawalshamsher Rana, Safford Limbu, Santosh Tamang, Swagat Nepal have been arrested for various offenses according to the existing law.

During the clash with the police, 12 people were arrested on Friday afternoon.
