A writ submitted by Kulman Ghising has been registered in the Supreme Court, alleging that he was illegally removed from the post of Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority.
The writ was submitted through Wares on Wednesday. According to Supreme Court Information Officer Nirajan Pandey, the writ was registered on Thursday.
Ghising filed a writ against the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, and the Nepal Electricity Authority, alleging that he was removed illegally.
Supreme Court registered the said writ after study. The cabinet meeting on Monday removed Ghisingh as executive director and appointed Hitendra Dev Shakya.
