Due to the government's decision to remove Kulman Ghising as the executive director of Nepal Electricity Authority, the meeting of both houses of the federal parliament could not be conducted on time even on Thursday.

The General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Padma Prasad Pandey, issued a notice and informed that the time of the House of Representatives meeting has been changed. Thursday morning at 11 am  It is mentioned in the notification of General Secretary Pandey that the meeting called for by Speaker Devraj Ghimire has been moved to 2 pm.

Similarly, after the opposition interrupted the National Assembly meeting, Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal adjourned the meeting for an hour later. After the opposition stood up and protested, Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal gave time to CPN S MP Veduram Bhusal to speak.  Bhusal took the stand that he will not allow the meeting to be conducted until Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli comes to the meeting and gives an answer regarding the dismissal of Kulman Ghising by the government.

Speaker Dahal gave time to Congress MP Krishna Prasad Sitaula to speak. MP Sitaula requested to conduct the meeting as the bill introduced by the government has to be completed within 60 days. He also accused the opposition of creating obstacles to cut the 60-day deadline. Despite repeated requests to start the meeting by observing the fast, Speaker Dahal announced that the meeting was adjourned for one hour after the opposition parliamentarians continued to obstruct.
