RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden has said that his party is not in the front of the opposition. A joint meeting of the main opposition Maoists, National Independent Party, United Socialists was held. But in the parliament, the opposition agreed on the removal of Kulman Ghising as the executive director of Nepal Electricity Authority.

Lingden said that even though he stood at one place in the Parliament against the removal of Ghising, the RPP was not in the front of the opposition. "Our conclusion is that by removing Kulman Ghising while he was doing a good job as the Executive Director of the Electricity Authority, the government committed an act against the public servant," he said. Although the opposition's votes have been agreed on this, we are not on the front of the opposition.' On the contrary, the RPP has announced a protest on Tuesday demanding the restoration of the monarchy and Hindu Rashtra. RPP did not participate in the opposition's front due to disagreement on this issue.
