Congress MP's demand that the Audit Committee should send a letter to the Prime Minister to reconsider the decision to remove Ghising

Ruling Congress MP Ramkrishna Yadav has demanded that the Public Accounts Committee send a letter to the Prime Minister to reconsider the decision to remove Kulman Ghising as the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority.

In Tuesday's meeting of the Public Accounts Committee under the House of Representatives, MP Yadav said that the decision to remove Ghising as the executive director of the authority was not correct. 'Kulman Ghising should not have been removed from the post . Now there has been a discussion,' Yadav demanded, 'on behalf of the accounting committee, a letter should be sent to the Prime Minister to reconsider the said decision.'

UML MP Rishikesh Pokharel was chaired by the Audit Committee and was banned from talking about Kulman Ghising. When the MPs of the government and the opposition protested against the decision to remove Ghising, Speaker Pokharel instructed not to put items that were not on the agenda.

Maoist MP Amanlal Modi had objected to the dismissal of the working officer by the government . He alleged that the government is working as a middleman.

When Speaker Pokharel tried to stop him from talking about Ghising, Modi said, 'The Accounts Committee is working in the shadow of the government .' He asked Chairman Pokharel to resign.
