In today's meeting of the National Assembly, the parliamentarians have demanded to investigate the fact of the demolition of Deepak Mallik's house in Aurhi Rural Municipality-5 of Siraha and take action against the culprits.
MP Ghanshyam Rizal demanded action against Bajrangi Baba, the leader of the crime like caste discrimination, and everyone involved in the incident. "The soil inside the house has been dug up and thrown away saying that the soil the Dalits live in is impure," he said, "This has humiliated about six million Dalits." This is a work against the constitution and the law.'
MP Rizal said that the elected representatives have exposed the level of consciousness of Nepali society by committing heinous crimes like caste discrimination. Even though the police arrested the chairman of the rural municipality, Shivji Yadav, who was involved in the incident, he pointed out that the victim's family still felt insecure, and he drew the attention of the government to ensure security.
Members of Parliament Bishnu Devi Pudasaini and Bishnu Bahadur Bishwakarma said that it was a criminal act to use a dozer in the house of a Dalit in the name of Maha Yagya and demanded action against those involved in the incident. MP Bishwakarma called the attention of the government to arrest Bajrangi Baba by deposing the municipal chairman immediately.
