Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government has focused its efforts to make the service provided by the state to the citizens more efficient, hassle-free and easy to provide access to the state-provided services. He said that it is an initiative taken by the government to end the cycle of feudal exploitation like foreign employment and the protection of the rights of workers in the country.

Submitting the 9th annual report of the government to President Ramchandra Paudel, which includes the major works of the government in the fiscal year 2080/081, Prime Minister Oli said that the policies and programs taken by the government have ensured that students will get textbooks upon admission to school. 

Prime Minister Oli has claimed that fertilizer has been provided to the farmers during the planting season and that the budget for the current financial year has been ensured so that there is no shortage of budget for fertilizer purchase and supply management.

The situation of waiting in line for hours for services such as citizenship, passport, license, no objection letter for studying abroad has been stopped.

Oli also said that the process of interoperability between the service systems of various agencies has been started to end the situation of having to submit personal details to one agency after another to get state services. "There has been an initiative by the government to end the cycle of feudal exploitation like foreign employment and the protection of the rights of the workers in the country and the meter lease. Citizen App launched by the current government in the field of speedy public service and good governance is one such initiative. Which has made government services hassle free and transparent. It has more than 50 services, he said.

The Prime Minister said that government services have been made hassle-free and transparent and more than 50 services are involved in it. He also said that the government is trying to strengthen the administrative and financial federalism through various reforms. He said that the government has arranged for financial transfer by studying, researching and analyzing on a transparent and objective basis for the implementation of financial federalism. He said that the work of clarifying the detailing of the work between the three levels is being finalized by keeping it as a high priority.

The Prime Minister also said that there has been significant improvement in the development of the hydropower sector. During this period, he informed that Nepal has succeeded in international electricity trade along with the expansion of power generation and transmission lines. 

He also said that the government is making intensive efforts to reduce the pressure on the external and internal sectors of the economy and has achieved some achievements. By the financial year 2080/81, 16 lakh 89 thousand 196 senior citizens over 68 years of age have received social security allowance and 8 lakh 36 children have received child protection subsidy . He said that 99.9 percent of children were enrolled in pre-primary education and 25 percent of women became property owners.
