Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has said that facilities should not be provided to former special officials. In the function meeting organized by Congress Banke here today, he said that there should not be a system to provide facilities to former special officials. Minister Paudel said that although it is right for the state to respect them, it should not provide facilities.
He also emphasized that the problems of Nepalgunj Medical College should be found by the college administration itself. "Medical colleges should follow the policies and rules and follow all the policies and rules determined by the state," he said.
Minister Paudel warned that if the salary given to the skilled personnel of any government, private and community hospital is not as prescribed by the Labor Act, the affiliation of that hospital will be terminated. He informed that work is going to be done to adjust the prices of medicines and said that work will be done to encourage national production.
Narrating that the government has a plan to make health insurance effective for patients, he said that 6.6 million households will be connected to the insurance plan.
