501 fire incidents killed 6 people, displaced 38 families

In the last one month, 6 people have died due to fires in different parts of the country. One man, four women and one child were killed. 30 men, 26 women, 6 boys and 3 girls were injured in the fire incident.

The Central Spokesperson of Nepal Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police Dinesh Kumar Acharya informed that there were 501 fire incidents across the country in one month. 87 houses and 57 sheds were damaged in the fire. 146 animals have died. 38 families have been displaced after the incident.

The fire has caused damage worth Rs. 40 million and 48 million. He informed that 3,614 policemen have been mobilized to control the fire in various places. 

Most of the 135 fire incidents occurred in Koshi province. Spokesperson Acharya said there were 105 fire incidents in Madhesh, 44 in Bagmati, 49 in Kathmandu Valley, 33 in Gandaki, 64 in Lumbini, 30 in Karnali and 41 in Far West.

Due to less rain and dry weather, fire incidents are happening in different parts of the country. The Ministry of Home Affairs has requested everyone to be alert as fire incidents will increase now.
