The UML MP, which is leading the government, Mejjana Thapalia, has accused the Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar of not taking any steps to stop the incidents against Dalits.

MP Thapalia accused and objected that the police did not take any action despite the demolition of the house of Dalit Deepak Malik Dome of Aurhi-5 in Siraha. In Thursday's meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Thapalia asked the Home Minister, 'Isn't the Home Minister interested in such incidents? Are you an anti-Dalit home minister? How can federal democracy be strengthened in this way?'

The organizer Bajrangi Baba ordered the demolition of Deepak's house saying that Dalits should not live around the mandap of the Mahayagya. Then Shivji Yadav, chairman of the rural municipality, sent a dozer. Even the soil of the house was thrown away because the place where Dalit lived was impure.

MP Thapalia has demanded the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee on this issue. He said, 'In this incident, the Home Minister will have to come to Parliament and answer.'

MP Ranendra Barali said that the atrocities against the Dalit community are increasing. He said, 'The excesses against Dalits have become a bigger mountain than Mount Everest. Where do Dalits go to seek justice?'

Parliamentarians have objected that despite the racially discriminatory behavior and illegal activities under the leadership of the chairman of the rural municipality, the police of the post in the village have not taken any action.
