Minister of Communications Prithvisubba Gurung informed that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday decided to give a public holiday to government offices and public bodies on 24th Chait.

The meeting has appointed Nareshraj Aryal as Banking Member of Debt Recovery Tribunal.
Similarly, Dinesh Prasad Bhatt has been appointed as the executive head of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
