At present, there is a partial influence of western winds as well as local winds in the country. At present, the weather is clear in Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati provinces while the rest of the region is clear, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology.
According to the department, on Tuesday afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy and mainly clear across the country. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Gandaki province and light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayas. There is a possibility of strong winds in some places of Koshi and Madhes provinces.
Similarly, tonight the weather will be partly cloudy to partly cloudy to clear in the hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, the department said. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Gandaki province and light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayas.
In addition, since there is a possibility of strong winds in some places of Koshi and Madhes provinces during the afternoon, the department has requested to take necessary precautions to avoid the effects that may occur due to the partial impact on daily life, health, road and air traffic.
