Former Prime Minister and Maoist Chairman Dahal has said that one should not be arrested for burning someone's photo. After the police arrested the RPP leader on the charge of burning his picture in Hetaunda, former Prime Minister Dahal responded that he should not be arrested on the basis of his opposition to democracy.

Dahal wrote on his Facebook page, 'There are different forms of protest in democracy. It is not appropriate to arrest for burning photos.'  Nirajan Bam, Secretary of the National Democratic Youth Organization Central Committee of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), who burned a photo of former Prime Minister Dahal in Hetaunda on Saturday, was arrested by the police.  Chitwan police on Sunday  Arrested.

The police did not reveal who filed the complaint against the bomb.
