As the dispute escalated, the children's correctional home, which became tense, was taken under control by the police for 4 hours. The District Police Office Banke said that a large number of Nepal Police and Armed Police teams have taken control of the correctional home on Saturday. Since Friday, there was a fight between the two groups due to a dispute. We took 15 people to the hospital at night," said Banke police chief SP Tul Bahadur Karki, "on Saturday, we arrested the group involved in the beating."
Some policemen were also injured by stone pelting by child detainees. According to the police, they set fire to the second floor of the correctional home and caused some damage. According to human rights activist Basant Gautam, who visited the injured child in the hospital, it was seen that the wound was caused by the use of sharp weapons during the clash.
