Samajwadi Morcha has suspected that there is a conspiracy to restore the monarchy against the republic by playing on the dissatisfaction of the people with the activities of the government.

After discussions with civic leaders in Lalitpur on Saturday, the leader of the main opposition party and Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, former prime minister and president of United Socialist Party Madhav Kumar Nepal, CPN General Secretary Netra Vikram Chand and NESP Mahindra Rai Yadav suspected that there is a conspiracy against the republic.

They say that the regressive and revivalist elements are involved in the conspiracy to restore the monarchy against the republic by creating murky waters due to the slowness in the development of the federal democratic republic, the arbitrariness of the government, and the wrong activities against the interests of the country and the people.

The Samajwadi Front says that such activities will be strongly countered, protecting the republic and moving forward in the direction of socialism with Nepali characteristics has become the main responsibility of the current national politics.
