Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh clarified that the Nepali Congress and the Nepal Communist Party (UML) formed a coalition government to save the country from crisis and said that it was a product of the situation at that time.
In a press meet organized by the Palpa branch of the Nepal Journalist Federation here on Saturday, he told the reality that the coalition government was formed after the activities of nation building, including economic development, were almost zero.
Mentioning that the Nepali Congress has always worked in the forefront when the country is in crisis, he said that he had to form an alliance with the UML to save the country from the crisis. He emphasized that the people are expecting results and should be accordingly. He also said that it is time to talk less and work more.
In a different context, Deputy Prime Minister Singh clarified that the government has no preparation to add facilities to the former. He emphasized that there should be unity among all political parties to strengthen the federal democratic republican governance system, as there is no point in talking about the monarchy despite the increase in the activities of the monarchists.
