Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala has expressed his anger that the government is going to make a law to provide life-long facilities to former special officials of the state. He said that it is necessary to reduce the facilities given to pre-specialists.
After the news about the issue came out that the government is going to amend the law and give life-long facilities to ex-specialists, leader Koirala expressed his views on social media on Friday and said that such work will not benefit the system and the parties. He called such a step of the government as 'wisdom against destruction'.
'Citizens' increasing anger that the government is in the vicious circle of misrule, strong opposition to the work of the government within the ruling party and an attempt to commit another crime in a sensitive situation where the wrong elements are heating up the streets: life-long facilities for the ex-specialist, such things do not benefit the system and the party. Govt., don't go ahead with such works, instead reduce the facilities given now,' said Koirala.
