Due to the partial effect of western and local winds, today there will be partial to normal showers in the hilly areas of Koshi Province and other provinces, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

According to the department, the weather will be clear in the rest of the hilly parts of Koshi province and other provinces today with partly to mostly cloudy weather.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan parts of the country. Some places in the hilly parts of Bagmati and Gandaki regions including Koshi region and one or two places in the hilly regions of the rest of the region are likely to experience light rain with thunder and lightning. Similarly, the hilly parts of the country will get partly to mostly cloudy tonight and the weather will remain clear in the rest of the country.
