It is currently raining in various parts of the country, including Kathmandu Valley.
Currently, a weather system is developing in the hilly areas of Gandaki Province, Bagmati Province and Koshi Province and is moving eastwards and rainfall is occurring in the hilly areas, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division.
Kathmandu is also raining now with Gadyangudung. Meteorologist Govind Jha informed that rain with thunder/lightning is occurring at one or two places in the hilly areas of that province. Now, due to the rain at night, the citizens who are going home after their daily work in the valley have been affected .
The division has informed that there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Karnali Province tonight.
Also, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.
After the rain, the valley has felt cold . The weather had changed in Nepal for the past few days. Because of this, air flights were also affected today.
