Nepal Communist Party (UML) Member of Parliament Gokarn Bista has said that people's freedom cannot be strengthened without democracy. Speaking at the special time of today's meeting of the House of Representatives, he said that there is no justification for trying to return the king.
MP Bista said, 'An attempt is being made to bring back the monarchy that has ended. This can never be acceptable for the forces that want democracy.' Mentioning that there are activities leading to chaos and instability, he commented that monarchy cannot be mainstream politics.
MP Bista said that democratic practice has been achieved after a long movement of the people and if it cannot be used properly within the constitutional norms, the country cannot move forward. He said that it is necessary to seriously review and cooperate with the forces of cooperation and contribution for the achievement of democracy in order to protect the achievements of the martyrs.
Member of Parliament Bista mentioned that there is no rapid development in order to instill hope in the youth. But he alleged that they are trying to create chaos and take the country towards regression by creating commentary that nothing has happened in the country.
