64 billion 15 million spent abroad in foreign studies

In the seven months of the current financial year, those who go to foreign countries for higher education have taken a large amount of money abroad. According to the information released by Nepal Rastra Bank, the expenditure on education has reached Rs 64.15 billion.

Travel expenses under the service account increased by 10.6 percent and reached Rs.1 trillion 15.88 billion. Out of this, expenditure on education is Rs 64 billion 15 crore. According to the bank, in the same period of the previous year, the travel expenses were Rs.1 billion, four billion and 75 million, while the expenditure on education was Rs.66 billion and 64 million.

During that period, the net service income was in a loss of Rs 50.22 billion. In the same period of the previous year, net service income was in loss by Rs 36.38 billion. Under the

service account, the tour income during the review period is seven point seven  The percentage has increased to Rs 49 billion 21 crore. In the same period of the previous year, such income was Rs 45 billion 68 crore.
