Renuka Subedi has been elected as the President of Federal Parliament Secretariat Employees Trade Union. The panel led by Subedi won the election held on Monday.
Subedi was elected as the president by getting 92 votes. The other candidates for the presidency were Saraswati Rizal who got 47 votes, Arun Kishore Sharma got 35 votes and Vishnu Khadka got 34 votes.
Subedi panel's Pravin Rai was elected as the vice-president by getting 111 votes, competitor Naveen Kumar Singh got 55 votes, and Jung Bahadur Magar got 37 votes.
Pawan Mahat was elected secretary. He got one hundred and eight votes. Secretary candidates Sadan Rai got 52 votes, Praval Paudel got 31 votes and Vinay Chaurel got 12 votes.
Anisha Dhakal won by getting one hundred and two votes as joint secretary. His competitor Sarojgopal DC got 52 votes and Ram Prasad Sapkota got 41 votes.
Treasurer candidate Suraj Pandey won by getting 100 votes. Yamuna Subedi got 60 votes and Sakuntala Bhatt got 39 votes. Dalle Gurung 143 votes, Sanukaji Maharjan 120 votes, Niraj Dahal 140 votes, Santosh Kumar Yadav 122 votes, Jyoti Sah 99 votes and Sudam Subedi 116 votes.
Subedi, who was elected as the president, is a member of the Central Working Committee of the Nepal Civil Service Organization close to UML.
