District Administration Office Kathmandu has issued prohibitory orders in some places of Kathmandu.  In the order issued by the Chief District Officer Rishiram Tiwari on Saturday, it is mentioned that a prohibition order has been issued in some places for 2 months with effect from Sunday, February 25th.

Sheetal Niwas (President's Office) Maharajganj area, Harit Griha (Vice President's Office) Lanchaur area, Singhdarbar area, Prime Minister's residence Baluwatar area, Prime Minister's residence Baluwatar area, Parliament building, Naya Baneshwar area where more than 5 people gather and hold protest programs such as fasting, dharna, siege, procession, demonstration and meeting are prohibited.

It is also mentioned in the order that protest programs in the offices of executive, legislature and judiciary, residences of very special people and the main administrative center and nearby areas will seriously affect essential services, public service delivery, public transport, public property and overall peace and security.
