UML Standing Committee Member and People's Organization Coordination Mechanism Chief Bhanubhakta Dhakal has said that the Social Media Bill is not intended to control the media sector but to reduce chaos.
At the opening ceremony of the second session of Press Chowtari Nepal Valley Province Committee, he promised to help correct the weaknesses in the bill. 'Let's correct it while there is a strong government and let's implement it.
Leader Dhakal also said that the government will fall twice. "Once in June 2083, the government led by UML president KP Oli and the government led by Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba will collapse after the 2084 elections," he said jokingly.
Permanent committee member Dhakal said that as long as the two leaders, Deuba and Oli, have an understanding, it does not matter who speaks.
