The Tribhuvan University Committee of the Nepal Students Association has said that the vandalism in the Rector's office is the official involvement of the organization.

President Vishnu Badaila issued a statement saying that there was no vandalism as per the official decision or instructions of the Navy Association.

On Friday morning, students including Sikendra Rokay along with Narendra Saud, who was elected as a member of Swaviyu from the Navy Union, vandalized the office of Rector Khadge KC. Badaila said that Saudi is a member of the Navy. "Navisangh does not support any kind of violent or vandalism activities. Uncivil activities such as vandalism are against the ideals and beliefs of the New Union,'' the statement said, "It is not an action taken according to any official decision or instruction of ours. We have taken serious notice of the misleading news and baseless allegations." He said that chairs, sofas, tables and other items were vandalized. He also said that he is not aware of what the students vandalized with their demands. The students had been protesting in the name of the Trivi Sangharsh Samiti, demanding a reduction in the fees of some central departments. Students of the Navy Association are also members of the committee.

The movement was led by students affiliated to Nevinsagh. Rokai is the coordinator of the committee. They also locked the Rector's office. But they became angry after the university administration broke the lock.
