Rahman Basic School is on the roadside near Gujra Municipality-5 Islampur Chowk. The management committee of this school, established in 2065, is chaired by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He has been the president since its inception.

The principal of the school is his son Afroz Alam. Rahman's daughter Gulnaz Khatun is a teacher and daughter-in-law Samrina Khatun is an office assistant.

Monday when you get to school  Principal Afroz, his sister Gulnaz and wife Samarina were not present in the school . Locals have been putting pressure to form a new management committee saying that education is lagging when the family members are in the running of the school . On February 5, when trying to start the process of forming the management committee  Ward President Sheikh Jamaluddin alleged that Principal Alam created a conflict by creating a conflict.

"It is the idea of ​​the villagers to run the school in a different way, but they have been in the same management committee for 16 years, they don't allow new ones to come," he said.

Even though all the villages have united to rid the school of familyism, the management committee has not been formed after the 5 February dispute, said Jamaluddin, the ward president. "The committee has not been formed since the father and son started bringing disputes," he said.

School Management Committee tenure is three years . Locals allege that the school has not progressed because the same person has been the president for a long time. When trying to form a new committee, due to the conflict that broke out,  Principal Alam was also slightly injured.  Principal Alam said that he went to Birgunj during treatment.

There are 280 students enrolled in this school in the records of the municipality. Only 20 people were present on Monday . According to Shivmangal Sah, education coordinator of the municipality, the number of students has started to decrease due to local disputes. Teacher Savita Vick claimed that the number of students was less due to the festival. When she tried to understand that the school was being run by the same family, she was shocked.

There is no office in the school that teaches up to class 5 . The drawer is placed in the classroom where students are taught. Ward president Jamaluddin is accused of keeping the attendance account hidden by the principal Alam for a long time . There is not a single permanent teacher in the school .  The principal is also a relief post . In the year 2070, a two-room concrete building was built in the school, and another two-room concrete building was constructed in 2078. Education is up to 6th standard . The sign board of the school is hung on the street light pole. There are 6 people working in the

school, including child development and other teachers. But from the municipality  Education coordinator Sah informed that only the salary of the principal, child development facilitator and office assistant is being paid.

According to him, working in relief posts  28,000 for the principal, 8,000 for the office assistant and 10,000 for the child development facilitator are paid by the municipality. President Rahman donated 2 plots of land for the school. Ward president Jamaluddin says that he has been becoming the president under the guise of that. Shah, the education coordinator of the municipality, claims that despite the allegations of nepotism, the school is running well. "This school became like a place for revenge," he said. Principal Alam said . I am working to make the school better, I am not an obstacle in the formation of a new committee. The process was stopped after the villagers took the dispute and tried to attack, he said.

Earlier, the basic school of Tikulia village located in Gaur municipality-4, which was run by the same family, was closed by the municipality in May 2079.
