According to the decision of the Council of Ministers to establish a vocational training center in Madhes province in the first phase, an agreement regarding land acquisition was signed between the Land Reforms and Lands Office Mahottari and the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security on February 20th.
Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security 1 million US dollars received from the Saudi government to build a multi-purpose polytechnic institute will be used in Balwa municipality of Mahottari. The process of establishing the institute has started with the technical support of the International Labor Organization. In the press release issued on Wednesday, it is mentioned that bilateral dialogue and coordination with major labor destination countries has been continuously promoted, indicating that production of skilled manpower, skill testing and certification has been prioritized by conducting skill training aimed at the labor market through various professional training centers under the
