The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has requested the Kathmandu Metropolitan City to improve the working environment for its employees. After a complaint was received from the Ministry that Saroj Prasad Guragai, who was assigned to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City as a Chief Administrative Officer, was not allowed to appear by the Metropolitan Chief Balendra Shah 'Balen', the Ministry requested the Metropolitan City to create a working environment.
Guragai, assigned to Kathmandu Metropolitan City, had written a complaint to the Ministry saying that he was not allowed to appear in the office since 8th of January last. It is mentioned in the petition given by Guragai to the Ministry that the head of the metropolis Shah locked his office and did not allow him to work and also made many false accusations.
Ministry's Local Level Staff Administration Branch has written to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Wednesday and said, 'In the matter presented, Mr. Saroj Prasad Guragai, the Chief Administrative Officer of the Metropolitan City (C.No. 172776) created a barrier to enter the working room of the office assigned to him and disrupted the working environment and has not been able to attend since 2081/09/08. Since he has been submitted, it is requested that he appear in the Metropolitan City and facilitate the necessary work for the execution of the work according to the decision of this Ministry (hon. ministerial level) dated 2081/11/21.
Guragai, who is working as the head of the 'Prosperity Project' under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, was sent to the Metropolitan City on August 27 by the Ministry as the Chief Administrative Officer.
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to proceed with the investigation against the Chief Administrative Officer Guragai for passing the map on wood without completing the official process.
