Speaker Devraj Ghimire has ruled to give information on the matters raised by the opposition parties in emergency, zero and special time in today's meeting of the House of Representatives.

In accordance with the provisions of sub-rule 2 of rule 15 of the House of Representatives Rules 2079, the speaker has drawn serious attention to the concerned minister. Speaker Ghimire also instructed the government to inform the assembly about the issues raised.

In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, the opposition parties demanded a ruling through the Speaker on the issues including clarifications from the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority. Hitraj Pandey, chief whip of CPN (Maoist Center) informed that the meeting of the Parliament cannot proceed without ruling  .

As soon as Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the start of today's session of the House of Representatives, after all the opposition parties, including the main opposition Maoists, stood up, he gave time to the Chief Whip of the Maoist Center, Hitraj Pandey.
