The Maoists have revised the schedule of the 'Maoist Tarai Madhesh Jagran Abhiyan with the People'.
The campaign which started from Jhapa has been postponed for three days after reaching Mahottari. Postponing the campaign, President Pushpa Kamal Dahal and other leaders returned to Kathmandu and held a meeting with officials.
Spokesman Agni Sapkota said that officials will hold a meeting on Wednesday morning to review the ordinance that the government is going to present to the parliament, the preparations of the opposition parties and the campaign focused on postal highways. The schedule, which was postponed for three days, will resume from Mahottari on Thursday.
According to the revised program, the campaign will be held on February 22 in Mahottari, 23 in Sarlahi, 24 in Rautahat, 25 in Bara, and 26 in Parsa. Spokesperson Sapkota said the campaign will be conducted in Chitwan, Butbal, Nawalpur, Nawalparasi East, Parasi, Nawalparasi West, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Dang, Banke, Bardia, Kailali and Kanchanpur. The Maoist campaign will end on Chait 12.
