More than 2400 kg of ganja has been recovered from one warehouse in Saptari. 2 thousand four hundred and 19 kg of ganja was recovered from a warehouse located in Maleth, Rajviraj municipality ward number-9 on Monday.

When Rajviraj was coming from Rupani, Chief District Officer of Saptari, Bhola Dahal, saw goods being unloaded in two trucks in a godown on the roadside. He went for monitoring after he got suspicious when he saw goods being loaded in the apple warehouse. 

Prazia Dahal informed that 2,419 kilos of ganja packed in 80 sacks were seized after breaking the lock and entering the warehouse. Prepared clothes, tobacco and plumbing goods worth lakhs of rupees in the godown have also been seized. 142 cartons of apples were also seized from the truck. 

According to SP Dhakendra Khatiwada of Saptari Police, a Scorpio with an Indian number plate and a car have also been seized from the warehouse. Although Indian number plates were immediately installed on the recovered Scorpio, there is no seat inside the Scorpio, which has two Nepali number plates inside. Similarly, the police also seized both trucks that were unloading apples in the warehouse premises. is. 

The police have arrested Ram Narayan Yadav of Bihar Madhuvani, the driver of the truck No. 1 B 5215, Devnarayan Pasman of Saptari Khadag Municipality 10, Rajakumar Sah of Nirmali, Supaul district of Bihar, and Aslam Khan, who were involved in loading and unloading.
