CPN (Unified Socialist) MP Gomadevi Timilsina has accused the current government of drowning the people in sickness, hunger and grief.

Speaking at the National Assembly meeting on Sunday, MP Timilsina said that the cooperatives embezzled the money saved by the people and left the people in trouble.  She said that when political parties are not controlled, party leaders and workers are involved in cooperative fraud. The current government has drowned the people with disease, hunger and grief. The amount saved by the elderly one by one to support their lives has been destroyed by one cooperative after another. "Today, the leaders and workers of different parties have joined the cooperatives despite not being able to handle their workers in their respective places," she said.
