UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has said that even if the Congress and UML form the government together, they will contest the elections alone without any alliance.

In the trainer training program organized by the UML Pesagat Special District Committee in Kathmandu today, he claimed that small parties will remain in parliament during the alliance and they will continue to create instability. "We will go to the elections alone with the belief that it must end," said General Secretary Pokharel.

He said that the problem is not that the political parties have not been able to create a country, but that the conditions for creating a country have not been created. He also said that due to the problems arising in the country under various pretexts, political parties have not been able to pay full attention to development.

'In 2074, even though the environment was ready for political parties to work, the government at that time could not work properly. UML and Maoists on weak ground  The CPN and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's government formed after unity also had problems working, he said.

He said that since the country is becoming economically weak and socially chaotic, the two big political parties have started working together to prevent further problems. "The environment for investment has been prepared. Interest rates have decreased. Capital expenditure has increased. Taxes have started to rise more than before. Generally speaking, economic indicators are improving,' he said.
