Sindhupalchok earthquake update: Six injured, five houses and one police office damaged

According to the Police Headquarters, the earthquake that occurred on Friday morning with its epicenter around Bhairabkund in Sindhupalchok was felt in many districts but affected only seven districts.

Spokesperson of Nepal Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police Dinesh Kumar Acharya said that according to the information received, people were injured in Sindhupalchok, Bhojpur, Kathmandu, Dolakha, Sankhuwasabha, Myagdi and Dhading and some houses were damaged due to the earthquake. According to him, six people from that district were injured due to the earthquake. A total of four houses and one shed have been damaged in all areas, one completely and three partially. A police office in Kodari of Sindhupalchok was also partially damaged, police said.

Two people were injured in Kathmandu and two houses were damaged in Sankhuwasabha. A prisoner was injured in Sindhupalchowk. It is mentioned in the details released by the police that three families have been displaced. Deputy Inspector General of Police Acharya mentioned that according to the information received so far in those districts, there have been 13 incidents. 

The earthquake occurred at 2:51 this morning. The earthquake was felt in many districts of the country.
