Air flights in the country have been affected due to adverse weather conditions. Due to bad weather conditions, domestic flights were affected due to low visibility.

Although visual flight rules (VFR) are flying at Tribhuvan International Airport, most of the airports outside Kathmandu are not able to fly in the morning.

Due to bad weather, the ship carrying Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba has also been diverted to Kolkata. According to the airport office, the Qatar Airways flight from Doha was diverted to Kolkata.

Similarly, the Nepal Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has been diverted to Delhi. Similarly, the flight of Sichuan Airlines from Tianfu, China has been diverted to Lhasa, Tibet. Now, with the improvement of the weather, the office said that international flights have started. 

On the domestic side, planes have flown from Kathmandu to Janakpur, Bhairahawa and Bhadrapur. Similarly, Kathmandu ships have also arrived from Nepalgunj, Janakpur and Dhangadhi. According to the department, there is a possibility of gradual improvement in the temperature especially in some places of Terai.
