Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that things like spreading politics of hatred by destroying social dignity and creating distrust among families will be controlled.

Inaugurating the international conference on digital crime organized by the Attorney General's office today, Prime Minister Oli said that since digital technology should be used for human happiness and prosperity, he has introduced a law to stop the tyranny that distorts the society in the name of exercising rights.

He clarified that the government will not enact any law on the right to use social media and said that the constitution will be reviewed after ten years of implementation and necessary amendments will be made.  In the digital era, crime control by the sole efforts of any country will not be effective.

Prime Minister Oli mentioned that crime control has become a challenge for a civilized society due to its misuse because science and technology provide people with ease and convenience.

'Twentieth century has given new inventions. But it has also been misused. Organized efforts have been made in the field of crime. We should use AI and digital technology to create a situation where crime cannot be committed and if a crime is committed, we should be able to conduct an objective investigation and deliver fair justice," said Prime Minister Oli. "Right now, digital technology is not being used. Misuse and crime are also taking place. I believe that such conferences will play a role in preventing crime and providing effective justice.'

Prime Minister Oli said that in order to achieve the national goal of 'prosperous Nepal, happy Nepali', it is necessary to achieve good governance and exercise the social and economic rights of the people, but none of these rights should be abused.

He said, 'There has been development but we are not satisfied with the current development. We cannot get good governance and prosperity from any situation. We want to go further to make the people full of biological and basic rights in every way. We want full democracy. All our social arrangements should establish conditions of human happiness and easy supply. We will succeed in making the country move forward from backwardness.'

Attorney General Ramesh Badal said that among the criminal incidents, crimes are being committed through digital use and social media misuse, digital fraud, financial crimes and data security are challenging.  Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Supreme Court's Senior Judge Sapna Pradhan Malla, Chief Commissioner of Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission Prem Kumar Rai, Consul General of International Prosecutor's Organization Shanej Muzaffar and others participated in the

program.
