When President Paudel and Vice President Yadav came to the Pashupatinath Temple, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, Member Secretary of Pashupati Area Development Fund Milan Kumar Thapa and other officials of the fund, employees, members of the Mahashivaratri original ceremony committee, local people's representatives, devotees welcomed them.
President Paudel performed worship and darshan in the temple by circumambulating the Pashupatinath original temple according to the darshan method. President Paudel was presented with flowers and prasad by Ganesh Bhatt, the original priest of Pashupatinath. His wife Savita Paudel was also with him.
