Shanil Nepal, Ambassador of Nepal to Spain, has presented his certificate of status to King Felipe VI.

In a special ceremony held at Rajprasad in Madrid last Monday, he submitted his certificate of status. The Nepali Embassy in Madrid informed that various aspects of the relationship between Nepal and Spain were briefly discussed during the courtesy meeting with the Spanish King after submitting the certificate of status.

The Ambassador of Nepal wished the King of Spain personal happiness, good health and continued progress of the people of Spain on behalf of the President Ramchandra Poudel as well as the Government of Nepal and the Nepalese people.

Nepal's foreign policy, development priorities and efforts, efforts to solve problems caused by climate change and the importance of international cooperation to tackle environmental challenges were discussed, according to a press release issued by the embassy on Tuesday.
