Relief will be provided to the families of those who have gone missing due to monsoon disasters

The government has decided to provide relief to the families of those who went missing due to the monsoon disaster. It has been decided to give relief as dead through the relevant district disaster management fund in cases where the person who went missing due to the disaster has not been found for at least 10 days.

Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvisubba Gurung announced the decisions of Monday's cabinet meeting on Tuesday and said that it has been decided to give relief to the families of those who have gone missing due to monsoon disasters since 1st Baisakh 2080. In the press conference, Minister Gurung informed that it was decided to grant permission to Dr. Ramesh Prasad Singh, a member of the National Planning Commission, to participate in the 'High-Level 12th Regional Third R&D Circular Economy Forum in the Asia and the Pacific' to be held in Jaipur, India from February 19 to 21.

Similarly, he said that it was decided to give permission to Dr. Jai Bahadur Tandon, a member of the National Planning Commission, to participate in the Asia and the Pacific Regional Preparatory Meeting for the Second United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS PES 4) to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from February 19 to 21. 

Similarly, giving approval to Dr. Shivraj Adhikari, the Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission, to participate in the "2025 Harvard Ministerial Leadership Forum" under the "Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program" to be held in the United States of America in Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts from May 14th to 17th, for the projects and programs included in the approved program and budget of the fiscal year 2080/81 and the projects and programs that have been completed but are yet to be paid for in the same fiscal year. Minister Gurung informed that the meeting decided to give approval to the Ministry of Finance to arrange the arrangement for payment of the created obligations, to form a negotiation team to finalize the financial agreement and program documents regarding the acceptance of the proposed concessional loan amount of 150 million US dollars from the International Development Organization of the World Bank Group under the third phase of the 'Bridges Improvement and Maintenance Program' and to authorize the said negotiation team to negotiate with the World Bank and to appoint Sharad Ojha from Kanchanpur as the chairman of the Nepal Insurance Authority. . 

Similarly, giving approval to Water Minister Pradip Yadav to participate in the signing of the memorandum of understanding on the development of drinking water and sanitation in India from February 18 to 22,  Approving the Land Registration (First Amendment) Order, 2081 under Gauradah Municipality-4 and 5 of Jhapa, granting approval to Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Devendra Dahal to participate in the '22nd Annual Transforming Transportation Conference' to be held in Washington, DC on February 27th and 28th in the United States of America, promoting one person to the post of General and Assistant General of the Nepali Army, one General General, two Assistant Chariots and one The Cabinet meeting to extend the tenure of the above  Minister Gurung informed about the decision. 

Similarly, Forest and Environment Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri was approved to participate in the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) to be held in New Delhi from February 21 to 23, Morang's Pathri Shanishare Municipality was approved to use the land of the National Forest located in Municipality-10 for the construction of the municipality's administrative building, the Tribal Tribes Commission and the National Ethical Affairs Commission of the People's Republic of China. (NEAC)', the meeting decided to authorize the Tribal Commission to sign the counterpart in the Memorandum of Understanding on 'Staying Friendly Cooperation', to approve the foreign visit of the Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development (Livestock Development), the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (Education) and the Ministry of Health and Population.
