The delegation of 'National Cadet Corps' (NCC) from India, Bhutan and Maldives who came to Nepal to participate in Youth Exchange Program, 2025 with President Ramchandra Poudel today had a courtesy call.

On the occasion of Mahashivratri and the 262nd anniversary of the establishment of the Nepali Army, the teams from those countries who came to participate in the youth exchange program organized in Kathmandu met at the President's residence, Sheetal Niwas. 

The Nepali Army has exchanged skills, culture and traditions among the 'cadets' to further strengthen the mutual relations with the armies of the neighboring countries  has been doing President Paudel is the Commander-in-Chief of the Nepali Army.

 It is believed that this kind of youth exchange program will help each other in the understanding of social, economic and cultural realities and play a role in making mutual relations more harmonious and strong. 

The training provided by the National Service Force (NSFC) has been gathering the youth and transforming them into loyal, disciplined and responsible leaders and good citizens. NCC has prioritized the development and promotion of qualities such as nationalism, patriotism, leadership, self-confidence and national service among the youth along with the exchange of good practices. 

There are 34 representatives in the tour team that came to Nepal on February 9. On the occasion of the meeting, the Executive Director General of Nepal's National Service Dal Uparthi Yam Prasad Dhakal, Director General of India's NCC Gurvir Pal Singh, Director of Bhutan Scout Association Sange Choden and Head of the Maldives delegation Rifan Ali participated in the meeting, according to the President's Office.
