Government spokesperson Prithvisubba Gurung has said that the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka should be asked about the preparations to remove the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising.
When asked for a response to Energy Minister Khadka's proposal to remove Kulman at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwar on Sunday, Communications and Information Technology Minister Gurung, who is also the government's spokesperson, said that the concerned ministry would know about Ghising.
He said, 'Please ask Energy Minister Deepak Khadka about the removal of Kulman.'
Energy Minister Khadka was displeased after Ghising wrote a letter to the Electricity Regulatory Commission asking for permission to cut the lines of industries that do not pay dues of dedicated feeders and trunk lines. Regarding the same issue, a proposal was taken to the cabinet to remove Ghising, but no decision was taken by the cabinet.
