Dhaulagiri Buhmukhi campus family, education lovers, former students and local level have given good support for fund building.  Chairman Kandel informed that 100 students will be given free education every year from the interest amount of the

fund. With the aim of supporting the studies of students in poor financial condition, the Independent Students' Union has reached the final stage of building a campaign of one crore rupees 'Dhaulagiri Multiple Campus Scholarship Fund'.

Kandel says that 45 lakh rupees have been collected through Deusibhailo and three lakh rupees have been provided by Kathekhola Rural Municipality and one lakh rupees by Jaljala Rural Municipality of Parbat. He also said that Rs.

According to him, ex-students are also helping in the creation of the fund. If it is achieved as decided at the local level to reach 1 crore in the fund, the target will be reached . Kandel said that it has been decided to give an amount of 5 lakhs to Baglung Municipality, 5 lakhs to Tamankhola Rural Municipality and 2.12 lakhs from Bareng Rural Municipality and the amount has yet to be collected.

"The number of students in Dhaulagiri campus is decreasing, the fund will help greatly to maintain this and provide free higher education to the refugee students", Kandel said, "even if the independent student union creates and collects the fund, the amount of the fund will be given to the campus by reaching one crore rupees, every year the study expenses of 100 students will be paid from the interest of the fund". The purpose has reached the stage of completion. The campus professor contributed one month's salary to the fund. The fund was created to increase the relationship and cooperation between the campus and the community, and to increase the attraction of students towards higher education studies.

Campus Head Associate Professor Dr. Surdshan Silwal informed that the fund will provide assistance to students who are deprived of higher education due to lack of finances. Social worker Bhimsen Kumar Shrestha and his wife Parvati Shrestha, a resident of Baglung-3 Kinara Toll, donated two lakhs to the campus to support the studies of underprivileged students. Prof. Dr. Ramprasad Upadhyay, the former head of the campus, informed that the amount of interest from the

fund will be used for the education of underprivileged students studying in the campus. "Even now, we have provided some scholarships to the students, but that is not enough", he said, "the fund of 1 crore to be established in the campus will end the need to drop out of education due to lack of finances and will make the educational activities of the campus sustainable." There are currently two thousand students studying in the campus.
