A Nepali woman who went missing 25 years ago has been found in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India.
Chief of India Naveen Joshi explained why the family was contacted after receiving information that he was in the shelter of the "One Stop Center" in Pithoragarh.
Since 2007, she has been in the shelter of "One Stop Center". Joshi says that after posting the information with the picture on social media, her daughter Varsha Shahi called and told her that she was her mother.
It has been revealed that his name is Shanti and his permanent address is Budhiganga Municipality-3 of Bajura. Joshi said that her husband Chandra Bahadur and sons have also come in contact. According to family members, Shanti disappeared 25 years ago.
Shanti's son Bhupendra Shah Thakuri has written on Facebook of why India - 'It feels like a dream.' We are very grateful for bringing happiness to our family today.'
India President Joshi explained why Shanti, who is now nearly 70 years old, will be handed over to her family after completing the necessary legal process.
