Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has made it clear that the government will not do anything to violate the right to freedom of expression as they have been fighting against the situation of not being able to speak.

Launching the book 'Personality Contribution' based on the biography of businessman and philanthropist Rajeshkaji Shrestha, published by Ishwar Lal Foundation on Friday, Prime Minister Oli commented that some people who drafted it together yesterday, were talking loudly against the social media bill, saying that the freedom of expression was being violated.

'Yesterday Tiktok was banned. We opened . Now they have become advocates of freedom of expression saying that they should be able to say anything", Prime Minister Oli said, "Working against the country, disrupting peace and security and provoking social harmony in the name of freedom cannot be accepted . Don't go to a place you don't know and disturb the peace and speak passionately. No one should do anything that affects the exercise of the rights of others while exercising their rights.'

Prime Minister Oli said, 'Why do I want such a property ? Eat two rotis and some dal. I have no reason to hide assets . All my life is open and transparent. It is not our culture to spread such rumors and create confusion and speak bad words.'

He clarified that we can bring the country towards prosperity only through good governance and since good governance is a serious challenge, the government is in the process of making laws quickly and moving the work forward.
