Tribhuvan University has announced the schedule of independent student union elections to be held on 5th Chait.
According to the schedule announced by the Central Monitoring and Coordinating Committee of the Swabi University Elections, nominations will be registered in campuses across the country on February 27. Pashupati Adhikari, member secretary of the committee, said that both direct and proportional nomination papers will be filed on the same day. Time for nomination registration has been fixed from 11 am to 2 pm. The committee has said that the nomination papers will be distributed on the 26th.
Voting time has been fixed on Chaitra 5th from 8 am to 4 pm. The date for registration of associations, organizations and groups to participate in the election has been fixed on February 19. It is mentioned in the schedule to publish the voter list on February 21. Community and affiliated private campuses including 64 campuses across the country will be able to hold self-elections. On the 25th, there is a schedule to publish the final list on the same day after investigating the claim against the donor. For the
elections, the University has issued the Guideline 2081 regarding the Swaviyu elections. As the 2-year tenure of the officers elected from the Swaviyu elections held in Chait 2079 is about to end, the Executive Council of the Tertiary University has prepared for the election. There is a provision that the campuses have to form election committees and implement the central agenda.
