Former Prime Minister and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed his commitment to help improve the quality of public schools.

In a brief meeting this morning with the management, teachers, students and parents of Panchamunidev Secondary School in Shuklagandaki municipality, he expressed his commitment to support the physical development of the school in the rural areas as well as the academic upgrading on behalf of himself and the party.

The number of students in private schools should not be more and the number of students should not be less in public schools. He said, 'Community schools can also provide quality education.' Chairman Dahal emphasized that the school should be made a model school.
